The republicans are terrified. Their internal polling is showing that the only way they can win is to suppress the vote (even more than they usually do).
Today, this move from Texas — which is within our reach — really raised my blood pressure
The move significantly affects Harris County, the state's largest county by population, one of the largest in the country, and a Democratic stronghold.
Harris County (population nearly 5 million people) must now reduce its 11 drop-off locations to one starting on Friday.
One location for 5 million people. One location for an area that is 1,777 mi² in size.
Travis County, which includes the reliably Democratic city of Austin, must limit its four drop-off locations to one.
This is outrageous. Keep in mind that they are doing this because they are terrified of facing an honest vote. Without Texas, Trump has no path.
Don’t get mad, get even.
I did a little research into what to do and came up with donating to Democracy Docket which is already planning a legal fight.
