Donald Trump is at it again, demonstrating that his memory banks are fried to a crisp, and that he thinks we are stupid enough to have forgotten his behavior toward Puerto Rico over the last three years since Hurricane Maria devastated the island.
Since Trump is now out of Superspreader COVID-Central Headquarters (aka the White House) and back on his fail campaign trail, “Making Our Teeth Grate Again,” he is attempting to court the Puerto Rican vote, seemingly oblivious to the fact that Puerto Ricans on the island territory cannot vote for president, and that his recent “endorsement” from the appointed Republican governor of Puerto Rico, Wanda Vazquez, who is on the way out since she lost bigly in her primary, ain’t worth the toilet paper it was printed on.

Graeme Massie, writing for The Independent, reported, “‘You better vote for me’: Trump demands Puerto Ricans elect him despite island not getting presidential vote”
Donald Trump has demanded Puerto Ricans vote for him, despite the island’s residents not being able to cast a ballot in the presidential election. Mr Trump courted Puerto Rican voters during part of his Make America Great Again rally in Florida on Monday, his first since catching Covid-19.
“I’m not gonna say the best, but I’m just about the best thing that ever happened to Puerto Rico. You better vote for me, Puerto Rico,” boasted the president.
None of the island’s 3.2 million US citizens has a vote in a presidential election, nor do those in the four other US territories of American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and the US Virgin Islands.
