The short of it: DeJoy (see: Trump) is pulling all postal police officers off duty, two weeks before the election. What’s the job of postal police officers (in case you weren’t aware)? They’re in charge of watching blue boxes (see: mail-in ballot boxes), postal workers — the mail — to make sure that mail fraud or other crimes aren’t committed.
So — I’d like you to try a thinking experiment.
Come up with another reason for Trump/DeJoy to bench postal police officers — all of them, across the country — 2 weeks before the election; another reason than to prepare for stealing, hoarding, manipulating or destroying ballots — or making sure they’re not delivered in the first place. Or maybe mail bags and boxes will just go *poof*.
Talk me down. Give me another reason for telling the postal cops to go home for the next two weeks.
Because I can’t find another reason, as much as I’m squeezing my brain for a last drop, here.
This is what the mafia does before a crime is committed.
And if they’re about to commit a crime to mess with ballots or ensure they’re not delivered, with no postal service police watching to make sure that doesn’t happen — are we now trusting the state and local governments, alone, to be aware of and prevent whatever they’re planning? Is the FBI still independent enough to be aware of any plans in the works and under Barr, would he even allow them to stop it?
What would we be saying if we heard Putin was doing this two weeks before his election?
If you can contact your state offices, please make them aware of this and ask what their remedy is to secure the integrity of your votes — and of all our votes.
