One teachers and two high school students have tested positive for coronavirus at Trinity School, the small private school attended by Barrett’s children. Two of Barrett’s children are high school age. A parent at the school told The New York Times that at least one of Barrett’s children attended school in person in the week following the White House event.
We don’t know enough to be sure that the White House event led to the COVID-19 cases at Barrett’s children’s school. But it’s suspicious—and the fact that Barrett did not have her children masked at the White House leads to further questions about how careful she was likely to have been in the days following it.
