trump is a small man, there is no doubt about that. He seemed to have shrunk a bit more today.
On Thanksgiving day, trump held a mini press conference, awkwardly seated behind a very small desk, perhaps sized to match his tiny heart and brain.
And what did the sore loser talk about? His grievances of course. And he petulantly lashed out at a reporter from AP for asking a question about conceding and then very unpresidentially continued to berate him for not “treating him like a president.” Bwaa ..
Then, he admitted, sort of, that he will vacate the premises if the electoral college declares Biden the winner in December. I supposed he now realizes that he will be dragged out by the secret service otherwise.
So, lets’ have some fun at the expense of this despicable occupant of the White House, who showed no grace or heart on this Thanksgiving day, when there is so much suffering across the nation, most of it directly caused by him.
What happened to the Resolute Desk? Are they moving out the White House furniture?
He gets no respect, and rightfully so. So, he lashes out at a reporter instead of answering the question.
The jokes are flying —
Resolute Desk to the covfefe table of despair.
LoL 😄
Don’t you think it fits the moment and his miserable personality?
Banished sounds right.
He probably sold the Resolute Desk on eBay or shipped it to Mar-a-Lago, along with all the missing Christmas tree ornaments.
Nah, he will always be a small whiner.
Many thanks to you all.
In case you are wondering, the Resolute desk is a nineteenth-century partners' desk used by several presidents of the United States in the White House Oval Office as the Oval Office desk. It was a gift from Queen Victoria to President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1880 and was built from the English oak timbers of the British Arctic exploration ship HMS Resolute. Many presidents since Hayes have used the desk at various locations in the White House.
To be fair, small tables have been used by other Presidents on special signing occasions, but they looked mighty Presidential doing it, surrounded by people.
Happy Thanksgiving! And stay safe.
