We will blow through 60,000 before May 1.
We will then be at more deaths than from ALL causes in Vietnam — we are already past the total of combat deaths and presumed dead
But it was only 15 cases, and it was going to soon be zero
It will go away with the heat in April
Here’s the sad thing — the total cases and the deaths are both way too low.
What is sadder is states like Florida which are LOWERING the number of daily tests, perhaps to try to “show” a drop in number of new cases to rationalize “opening”????
Even with numbers from NY dropping, we are regularly seeing 28K or more new cases a day, circa 2K or more new deaths.
The number of people we personally know infected continues to increase.
To save lives, things do need to stay shut down, even in places which don’t YET have big numbers — some of those states are starting to see # of cases jump.
Life has changed. Hopefully it goes on,
Peace.
