Send your CARES payment announcement letter back to the White House and help the Post Office

A member of my household received her CARES Act payment announcement letter today. It irritated me to even have to bring it into the house.

The correct thing to do would be to recycle it without opening it, but after thinking about it, I decided that when my letter arrives, I will use it to send a message back to the White House and Trump, telling them how derelict their handling of the Corona virus pandemic has been. I’ll just write a note on Trump’s letter or add a single sheet if there is no room.

It is a waste of time and resources (as was the original letter), but at least I will be sending a statement to remind them that they are not fooling all of us. As an added bonus, sending it this way will get a little more money to the U.S. Postal Service.

It would be fun if a lot of us did this.
