According to today’s The Hill,
President Trump on Monday revealed he's taking hydroxychloroquine, a controversial drug that he's championed as a potential treatment for coronavirus despite limited evidence from the medical community.
Trump said he consulted with the White House doctor about taking the drug, but it was not recommended for him.
According to the Mayo Clinic, here are the side effects of this drug:
- skin
- blurred vision or other vision changes
- chest discomfort, pain, or tightness
- cough or hoarseness
- dark urine
- decreased urination
- defective color vision
- diarrhea
- difficulty breathing
- difficulty seeing at night
- dizziness or fainting
- fast, pounding, uneven heartbeat
- feeling that others are watching you or controlling your behavior
- feeling that others can hear your thoughts
- feeling, seeing, or hearing things that are not there
- fever with or without chills
- general feeling of tiredness or weakness
- headache
- inability to move the eyes
- increased blinking or spasms of the eyelid
- joint or muscle pain
- large, hive-like swelling on the face, eyelids, lips, tongue, throat, hands, legs, feet, and sex organs
- loss of hearing
- lower back or side pain
- noisy breathing
- painful or difficult urination
Hydroxychloroquine was purported to be a treatment for those infected with the bug.
Here is some simple logic:
a. People in the White House have been diagnosed, with rumors suggesting the numbers are high.
b. Several high ranking folks, including Steve Miller’s wife, were diagnosed with COVID.
c. A VERY high ranking member of the admin is purported to be infected. Even Fox News mentioned that report.
d. Hydroxychloroquine has serious side-effects, including hallucinations.
e. Contrary to doctors’ advice, Trump is taking the drug orally. If it were by IV, we would be hearing of it.
Conclusion. Either Trump has been infected and tested positive, (even though the White House version of the test had up to 40-50% false negatives) or he is helping out JarJar and Eric and Don Jr., whose financial dealings over Hydroxychloroquine would have been the source of Inspector General investigations, and Teh Don is trying to shore up their incomes and investments. Either are possibly true, but, Given how Trump fired all the Inspector Generals, that seems less likely.
