This week’s presidential and senate polls continue to show a weakening of Republican strength, with Biden having about a seven or eight point national lead. Website 538’s average of Trump approval polls is minus 11% (53.6% to 42.6%), the worse it has been since December. Last week the same average was 10.1%.

The Trump campaign is in defense mode, it is running TV ads in eight states he won in 2016, including Iowa and Ohio. He won Iowa by 9.5% and Ohio by 8.1%.

Some things to note:
- Kansas Republicans have still to chose a candidate and Kobach will be far easier to defeat than Marshall.
- The Civiqs Poll showing Lindsay Graham tied has a large number on undecided voters most of whom are supporting Trump so that it is not favorable as it might seem.
