I used the above photo of Trump in yesterday’s diary “Don’t rain on my pomade” president, the pathological preening narcissist is getting his due.” I wrote this before the Bob Woodward tapes came out.
I thought I could turn him upside-down to illustrate this diary showing what is happening to him right now. Yesterday I thought Trump got his due with the soldiers are losers and suckers story. Alas there were no tapes.
Who would have thought that the next day a story would come out that made that story look microscopic in comparison?
We’re a compassionate bunch. Is Trump really all that evil that he deserves to be diced, sliced, and shredded any further beyond what happened yesterday? Perhaps we should show him the human kindness he’s never shown anybody. Yes, I know, he revels in inflicting pain on small children but after all what would you expect of a sadistic psychopath raised by Fred Trump?
Vengeance drives him. We learned a lot from Michael Cohen about this. For example, how he was behind this totally made up National Enquirer story being published:
Now he wants to nominate Cruz for the Supreme Court if there's a vacancy.
But really, isn’t this merely proof of what a sick, sick mind Trump has?
Maybe we, meaning all of us including Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the liberal press, the anti-Trump Republicans, and all of us on Daily Kos to ought to just lay off him and stop excoriating him and let the voters decide.
Maybe Rachel Maddow should lighten up on him:
“I don’t mean to make light of this and downgrade the gravity because of what’s going on in the news right now… this is heavy stuff for our country. I kept on thinking over and over again as each unbelievable news story broke in the past 24 hours. If this were a TV series of what’s going on in American politics right now, tonight would be the episode of the TV series where the president of the United States resigns,” Rachel said at the beginning of her show.
Should we heed what Jesus said in The Sermon on the Mount?
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.”
I say bring it on Michael Cohen and if you have any incriminating tapes release them. Hey John Kelly, come out of your hidy-hole and tell us what you know. Anyone who signed a non-disclosure agreement and has something to disclose, now that Trump is on his back this is the time to break it. He’s going to be out of office soon and won’t have two dimes to rub together let alone afford high priced lawyers to sue you.
Let’s hope the Woodward tapes are like the boulder that held back a thousand tons of smaller rocks on the edge of a cliff. It’s been removed, let rockslide of other revelations begin.
The curse erroneously attributed to the people that brought you Covid-19 according to Trump “may you live in interesting times” applied to our lives a two or three years ago. But now all I can say is:

Ethics aside, as a thought exercise you could wonder that if this led to Trump’s actually taking the virus seriously and not treating it like no big deal not only would thousands of lives been saved but he could have taken credit for it and might even be ahead in the polls.
