Biden is responding to Trump’s accusations by saying “I’m not [Trump’s Message]” When he does that, what he’s doing is amplifying [Trump’s message]. What he needs to do is to pivot and deconstruct [Trump’s message].
What Trump is threatening people with is that, if they vote for Biden, they’ll end up with Trump’s America. What he’s showing people is images of Trump’s America. What we have right now, isn’t Biden’s America — It’s Trump’s. It’s the America that Trump has created after 4 years in the White House … and if you vote in Trump again, you’ll end up with more of this.
This is Trump’s America.
Trump’s America is one with
- Growing inequality
- Constant protests
- Racial unrest
- Armed vigilantes roaming the streets killing people
- A divided america
- No trust of the government
- A broken pandemic response
- ¼ million people dead by November
- Lies, lies, lies — about the pandemic and other things
- reduced respect for America worldwide
- A worsening climate crisis
This is Trump’s America and, at the RNC, all that Trump promised people was more of the same. Even so, the current RNC platform even admits that “The current administration’s policies are broken and need to be changed” (Not the exact wording — look it up. They kept exactly the same wording as what was in the 2016 platform).
Pretty soon, the only country with more infected people than the USA will be India …. India! … and India has 3 times the population that the US does. No first world country has more infected people per Capita than the USA does — only third world countries … but Trump insists on blaming China for the state of the US response…. When did Trump give China control over America’s response to this pandemic?
Once you’ve deconstructed that Trump is threatening Americans with the America that he has created, then Biden can distinguish the future America that he’s now promising to create.
(Oh, and, yes, the spelling of RONG is right!)
