I don't remember who wrote the diary about PA mail-in ballots needing extra postage or they'd be returned. I had already sent mine in by then, and was fully expecting to get it back with a "please add postage you idiot" stamp on it. When several days passed and I hadn't received it, I checked the status. It was received and counted. So, I suppose the post office is allowing these to go through? I don't know. Just thought I'd share my experience and remind people you CAN (and should) check on the status of your ballot in any case.
