We lost our mother nearly 4 years ago after a long fight with cancer.
- She was a lobbyist for the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- She was an East Coast Republican most of her life.
- She was the best mother anyone could hope for, and a role model for us.
We lost our Great Bear earlier this year, from complications including covid and cancer
- He was a military man and sailor for most of his adult life.
- He was an East Coast Republican most of his life.
- He was our warm and loving Great Bear.
Now if anyone had said anything negative about their choices in life during the mourning period they would have had to deal with the six of us, the dead don’t give a damn about the living.
The time to argue with and understand both of them was when they were living.
Families need time to grieve in peace, they are not responsible for the dead.
There is a time and place for everything, especially with those who are grieving.
Empathy for the living costs nothing.
That is all I will say on this subject.
