I’m at home. The route goes about six blocks along the street at the north edge of the apartment complex where I live. Including the block or two on the north edge of the apartment complex where I live.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. It's also so we can find other Kossacks nearby for in-person checks when other methods of communication fail - a buddy system. Members come here to check in. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we and your buddy are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

It’s been raining. On average, I’d say roughly as much as is normal for the time of year, but not the steady soak — more coming down in buckets and then a light soak for a while and then more buckets.
I don't like pain. It hurts. That is incentive enough for me to use one of my two machines every single day. I'm not sure what I will do when I start going places again, but my right hip is no longer as painful as it was for two days after I skipped using my Scoop for a day or two. Lesson learned.
I am finding out that I’m further behind on current slang than I had thought. Not that I much care, all things considered; but I just found out on Thursday what one particular weirdity meant. On the dumb to mildly funny scale, closer to dumb.
The Century Link tech replaced a seriously elderly phone jack on Friday and tested everything. I don't have to plug my phone and computer in clear across the room any more. However, whatever is causing my internet connection to go wonky isn't anything to do with my phone lines. It’s happening less often with my new computer, but it’s still happening.
The virtual Netroots Nation 2021 is happening this coming Thursday through Saturday. Friday is a day my grandkids have off school. This makes things easier for me.
My granddaughter is sick, but the test was negative, so it’s a cold or something. Feeling better now than for the last several days. My grandson went to a birthday party yesterday, so my daughter took hers out for ice cream before going to pick him up.
