I was looking at the actual Constitution recently,
mainly the Preamble,
which tells us what the founding fathers had in mind,
as the actual purpose of the whole Constitution,
the actual purpose of establishing the USA.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty, to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Let’s break this down:
We the People of the United States, in Order to:
1. form a more perfect Union,
2. establish Justice,
3. insure domestic Tranquility,
4. provide for the common defence,
5. promote the general Welfare, and
6. secure the Blessings of Liberty, to ourselves and our Posterity,
do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Let’s analyze each of these goals:
1. Form a more perfect Union.
As I recall, the founding fathers started out with the Articles of Confederation, which was a way to unite the 13 colonies, somewhat.
I have not yet read the Articles, but, from this first goal, I am led to believe the founding fathers did not feel that they already had a very desirable, practical, union.
Okay, I looked it up:
Article III. The said states hereby severally enter into a firm league of friendship with each other, for their common defence, the security of their Liberties, and their mutual and general welfare, binding themselves to assist each other, against all force offered to, or attacks made upon them, or any of them, on account of religion, sovereignty, trade, or any other pretence whatever.
This Article, from the Articles of Confederation,
seems very similar to the Preamble of the Constitution.
So, the founding fathers had the same general goals in mind,
while writing the earlier document,
the Articles,
and, the later document,
the Constitution.
I just skimmed through the Articles, and found,
in article 5, a kind of Congress established.
That Congress, apparently, did not have the power to directly tax anyone,
but, rather, the states were directed to levy taxes,
and turn over some tax money to the central government,
to be held in a common treasury.
Seems they wanted,
with the newer Constitution,
more unity, not just a loose, friendly, association.
Nowadays,
the radicalized Republicans,
with their theme of white supremacy,
express a desire to separate various factions of Americans, from each other.
They expressed this, clearly,
by bringing the Confederate flag into the Capitol, on January 6:

So, nowadays, it goes like this:
Republicans want America broken apart.
Democrats want America to be more united.
So, vote for Democrats, to form a more perfect union.
2. Establish Justice.
Justice means,
what is fair, is fair.
It is not fair, for some workers, in their workplaces,
to get vaccinated,
and wear masks,
for the safety of themselves,
and the safety of their co-workers,
it is not fair that some workers do that,
and others do not.
That is against the rules and regulations of the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration,
signed into law by
Richard Nixon:

Congress established the agency under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act), which President Richard M. Nixon signed into law on December 29, 1970. OSHA's mission is to "assure safe and healthy working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance".[3] The agency is also charged with enforcing a variety of whistleblower statutes and regulations. OSHA's workplace safety inspections have been shown to reduce injury rates and injury costs without adverse effects to employment, sales, credit ratings, or firm survival.[4]
Think about it.
Anyone who is injured in the workplace,
can hire a lawyer,
sue the business,
and get some money.
However, is that a great example of justice?
By doing that, do we establish justice?
Anyone who has severe, permanent, injuries,
resulting in severe disabilities,
for the rest of that person’s life,
did that worker get justice?
No, just some money,
to make life more easy.
Not disabled, and broke,
but disabled, and with some extra money on hand.
However, an ounce of prevention,
is worth a pound of cure, right?
OSHA is all about that prevention.
Those who have common sense in the workplace,
are all about that prevention.
So, nowadays, it goes like this:
Republicans want workers to harm themselves and others.
Democrats want workers to establish justice, by way of carefully preventing injuries and illnesses, for themselves and their co-workers. That is justice. That is fair.
So, vote for Democrats, to establish justice.
3. Insure domestic Tranquility.
To insure tranquility, here, inside the USA,
we, America, must aggressively investigate and prosecute,
anyone who attacked the Capitol,
with threats to kill Pelosi.
Nowadays, it goes like this:
Republicans want the Proud Boys, and anyone else,
to freely attack any government officials, anytime.
Democrats want those folks arrested,
to reduce future attacks,
to ensure domestic tranquility.
So, vote for Democrats, to ensure domestic tranquility.
4. Provide for the common defence.
For this one, let us go deeper int the Constitution:
Article One, Section 8:
SECTION. 8.
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
Nowadays, it goes like this:
Republicans want to cut taxes on the very wealthy,
and they do not care what harm that may do,
to any part of America,
including the military.
Democrats want to increase taxes on the very wealthy,
making it easier to provide for the common defense.
So, vote for Democrats, to provide for the common defense.
5. Promote the general Welfare.
So many things our government does,
to promote the general welfare.
In current times,
we have the infrastructure proposals,
and the expansion of Bear’s Ears, etc.

Nowadays, it goes like this:
Republicans want to cut or eliminate all programs intended to help anyone.
Democrats want to help everyone, in any practical way possible.
So, vote for Democrats, to promote the general welfare.
6. Secure the Blessings of Liberty.
Nowadays, it goes like this:
Republicans do not want any Democrats to have any liberty.
Republicans want all Democrats to die.
Democrats want everyone to live, in peace, and harmony, with as much liberty as possible.
Democrats do not want to be killed by Republicans.
That would be too much liberty for the Republicans,
and zero liberty for the Democrats.
So, vote for Democrats, to secure the blessings of liberty.
So, to further all the goals expressed in the Preamble,
vote for Democrats.
