Beryl Shereshewsky has a very interesting cooking channel on YouTube. Generally, her videos feature five or so dishes from around the world. Let’s start with varied comfort foods [14:01]:

As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!
Monday Youffraita
The recipes she uses are either included in the YT description or linked there. (I can actually binge-watch these, but because they’re rather long, you might want to watch them in small doses all day.)
What to do with leftover rice paper? [26:41]
Part of her appeal for me is that she seems genuine. She and her husband live in NYC (I covet their apartment) so to a certain extent she can get most of the ingredients for far-flung dishes. In one video I watched (not included here) she says I’m not a chef, just a girl with a kitchen.
She garnishes everything with sprouts — but you don’t have to, LOL. Shrimp & Grits, y’all! [16:30]
Some of her videos are a challenge to her fans: “I hate this food. Change my mind.” Haven’t watched the cantaloupe one yet — but we both hate cantaloupe, so I’m quite intrigued.
