God bless and keep you Dijit. Your obligations outside of our Dkos community have given me the chance to expand my horizons. Some of my diaries have been far reaching for sure. But, I remember the days when I first slipped among the shadows to “listen in” to the MOT-to,dos. There was a thing called “SKA” Tuesday during those days. I never heard of such a thing until I got to know Digit. I haven’t been able to recreate the hoopla equal to those joyful mornings.
Morning Open Thread is a daily, copyrighted post from a host of editors and guest writers. We support our community, invite and share ideas, and encourage thoughtful, respectful dialogue in an open forum.
This is a post where you can come to share what’s on your mind and stay for the expansion (and often music). The diarist is on independent time (a schedule of their own) and gets to take a nap when he/she needs, or may just wander off and show up again later. So you know, it's a feature, not a bug.
I was drawn to the band, “The Guess Who”. Here are a few of the songs that moved me best.
There were a few songs that received radio play and became popular. Here are two of those songs.
This is nowhere near the level of Dijit’s former diaries and I can only strive to his excellence of presentation. But, I’ll let the music defend my case. Enjoy this morning’s fare.
