I've Been Scraped.
Imagine my surprise when an article I published on Dec. 15 at Daily Kos Community found its way onto the digital pages of Daily Sound and Fury a day later.
I was particularly surprised when the piece appeared with the byline of Jake Jackson. My name is Steve Schneider. I wrote the article. My email appears in the article: hillcrestunitowner@gmail.com. Jake Jackson didn't even have the smarts to delete the email address which will link the Daily Sound and Fury piece to me. What's more, the photo I selected for Daily Kos Community also ran with my article at Daily Sound and Fury.
Here is the link to the Daily Kos Community article that I wrote, based on experiences I had with my 93-year-old father, who entered Memorial Regional Hospital earlier this month. He was transferred to Hampton Court Nursing Home several days later. Both pieces contain this information word for word. Both articles run online word for word.
Here is the link to the Daily Sound and Fury "scrape". I tried contacting the publication by clicking several icons. None of them worked. So, I'm trying to reach them this way. Please give me credit for my work. Or take it down.
Oh, and from what I can tell, there is a donation icon for Daily Sound and Fury writers. Keep any money you got from my words, Jake. Merry Christmas. Just give me credit. I've been writing for free to keep my 63-year-old brain occupied when I have spare time.
The Con is the Message. The Grift is the Motive.
