Did he have any concern for the mental well-being of the people he terrorized in the U.S. Capitol on January 6th?

A Florida man and member of the “Oath Keeper” militia organization who was charged with coordinating a military-style attack on the U.S. Capitol aimed at overthrowing the federal government is asking a federal judge to reconsider a ruling that will keep him in jail until the start of his criminal trial.

Lawyer for Young filed a motion on Monday seeking to have the initial bond ruling vacated, arguing that the Government lacked sufficient evidence to hold Young on the charges. They cited to his “strong character” and the “psychological burdens” Young has endured as a result of his first-ever jailing as reasons why he should be released.
“The psychological burdens of being detained pending trial are very real for Mr. Young. Since he has no previous experience with the criminal justice system, being detained is taking an extremely high toll on his mental well-being,” the motion stated. “Prior to being detained, Mr. Young was a mentally strong and stable person with no history of mental disorders. His current emotional and psychological state is owing entirely to the fact that he has been detained and is unable to rely upon his normal social support systems. Because he is such a strong family man, locking him up away from his wife and children with the prospect of an extremely long period of time before trial is even scheduled is causing potentially irreparable psychological and emotional damage to Mr. Young.”
Young’s attorneys also claimed that deleting his Facebook page—where he posted photos and videos of the siege—did not amount to obstruction of justice because he was unaware that the FBI had opened an active investigation into him personally.
What about the citizens of the democracy he was attempting to usurp? That was pretty traumatic watching it on television...

In a 44-page complaint, the FBI included dozens of photos a man they say is Young, along with his sister Laura Steele, and others in camouflage, body armor and helmets before and during the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
Court records show “Young allegedly arranged, for himself and others, training by a Florida company that provides firearms and combat training,” before the Jan. 6 breach of the Capitol.

The FBI’s report states Young’s cellphone records show he was in the Capitol on the day of the raid. He deleted all content on his social media dating back to last year, including a Facebook post that called “War of Northern Aggression” where he wrote, “I think censorship is going to get worse with Biden win.”
Then he deleted his Facebook and Instagram accounts. However, witnesses, including a friend who knew Young for 25 years, identified him from Facebook posts, according to court records. The accounts were also tied to his phone number.
Let me clue you in, jackass… Just writing about this goddamned insurrection is taking a bit of a toll on this Private’s “mental well being.”

Graydon Young, 54, of Englewood, was caught on surveillance video in the middle of the violent crowd that sacked the capitol. Investigators allege Young, a retired Army and Navy reservist, was part of a “military stack formation” that snaked its way through the mass and into the rotunda.
Court documents indicate Young’s cell phone signal showed his path to the January 6 crime scene and his presence there as the siege erupted.
During a February hearing in Tampa Federal Court, Young’s attorney Robert Foley told Magistrate Thomas Wilson the Sarasota business owner was “duped” into joining the right wing, militant Oath Keepers a month before the insurrection.

Despite the assertion Young was duped, Wilson wrote the “evidence indicates the defendant’s conduct was intentional and purposeful.”
The FBI continues to seek the public’s assistance in identifying individuals who participated in unlawful conduct during the Capitol Insurrection.
