I completely empathize regarding Manchin and Synema. I make no excuses when they are wrong.

That being said, they still voted for the bill which is largely intact regarding effectiveness. We need to keep the focus on all the election/voting legislation to exempt on a narrow basis the filibuster. Joe Manchin supports DC and Puerto Rico Statehood. He just said today he is open to reforming the filibuster in a way that makes it painful for the minority to filibuster (institute talking to MAKE the GOP embarrass themselves)

I have a positive feeling they will be cooperative on the multi trillion dollar build back bigger better beyond infrastructure recovery bill which will also be done by a second reconciliation process.

We need to elect more democrats in 2022 (pennsylvania, wisconsin, north carolina) along with DC and Puerto Rico statehood senators, so we don’t have to worry about those two.

Sadly, we felt short beating Collins and Tillis. We need to learn from our mistakes on those two main races.
