Trump can’t even find anyone to put together a decent blog. I was gratified to read this story:
I know hardly any of you want to give his website/blog a click so I thought I’d take some screenshots and copy some of what you’d see if you did.
I did this on May 5th in this diary:
The current About section is topped with a frequently used photo:
It is followed by some bull-crap text I wasn’t going to bother copying, but figure one or two of you might be interested:
Over the past four years, my administration delivered for Americans of all backgrounds like never before. Save America is about building on those accomplishments, supporting the brave conservatives who will define the future of the America First Movement, the future of our party, and the future of our beloved country. Save America is also about ensuring that we always keep America First, in our foreign and domestic policy. We take pride in our country, we teach the truth about our history, we celebrate our rich heritage and national traditions, and of course, we respect our great American Flag.
- We are committed to defending innocent life and to upholding the Judeo-Christian values of our founding.
- We believe in the promise of the Declaration of Independence, that we are all made EQUAL by our Creator, and that must all be TREATED equal under the law.
- We know that our rights do not come from government, they come from God, and no earthly force can ever take those rights away. That includes the right to religious liberty and the right to Keep and Bear Arms.
- We believe in rebuilding our previously depleted military and ending the endless wars our failed politicians of the past got us into for decades.
- We embrace free thought, we welcome robust debate, and we are not afraid to stand up to the oppressive dictates of political correctness.
- We know that the rule of law is the ultimate safeguard of our freedoms, and we affirm that the Constitution means exactly what it says AS WRITTEN.
- We support fair trade, low taxes, and fewer job-killing regulations, and we know that America must always have the most powerful military on the face of the Earth.
- We believe in Law and Order, and we believe that the men and women of law enforcement are HEROES who deserve our absolute support.
- We believe in FREE SPEECH and Fair Elections. We must ensure fair, honest, transparent, and secure elections going forward – where every LEGAL VOTE counts.
Then on the bottom of the page there’s a typical self-aggrandizing photo that harkens back to the golden era he yearns for when he could fly on Marine One but something jumped out at me. Notice that Trump and the military officer appear to be talking at the same time. Either that or one of them is a mouth-breather.
Here’s what the News page looks like:
The photo is the same one they had online when I last reviewed his blog and noted nobody bothered to improve it. I did it by lightening the exposure myself in 20 seconds.
The News page’s most recent item is this:
Wow! I hear they have thousands and thousands of boats parading in Jupiter, despite the fact that they tried to cancel us. Everyone is having an incredible time. On this day, we especially appreciate everyone who served and fought for our great Country. I love you all!
Of course Trump found a way to brag about himself in the first half of his Memorial Day message.
The most interesting and well made page is the Contact page. It cycles a number of photos I hadn’t seen before. Half are the standard fare, but half made me wonder what was in the mind of whoever decided to use them. I wouldn’t dismiss the possibility that Trump himself had final approval of which photos where used.
Here are some of the photos with my comments.
This strikes me as an weird choice. What message are they trying to send showing Trump in a tux and Melania posing in front of empty tables? Why would they use empty tables?
You may have seen this photo or others of Trump kissing a decidedly unhappy baby. Can’t they find one of him kissing a happy baby?
I wrote about this before wondering about why Trump would be signing his name in a book. Looking at it again I wonder what the significance of the framed item which looks like a map but could be a drawing and the painting are. Can anybody identify the painting?
Extra credit if you can identify what this is:
What’s the messaging here? Are we supposed to relate to Trump and Melania dancing on a giant presidential seal? Look at Trump’s stiff legs and their feet closely and it doesn’t even look like they are moving. You can decide yourself if you think it is a flattering photo of either of them.
Here’s yet another photo choice which is an oddity for two reasons. Primarily, why do they want to remind the public of the meeting with Kim Jong-un which amounted to nothing and the other reason is why they put the lettering identifying Trump smack-dab over Kim’s face. For that matter, why put text over Trump’s face in the photo below?
Last but not least, why do they want to remind viewers of this?
Look up “Trump Mt. Rushmore” to see the coverage which generally mocked him for his narcissism here.
