The so called “Justice for J6” rally, referred to by Scott Dworkin as the “GOP hate rally” and by Meidas Touch as the “domestic terrorist rally” is unfolding in front of the Capitol as we speak. A “yuge” crowd of 200 or so people are attending, heavily outnumbered by law enforcement personnel and the press. trump and the far-right organizers are already calling the rally a “tremendous success.”
Yup, just 200. U.S. capitol Police estimates that 400 to 450 people were inside the protest area, excluding law enforcement, but including members of the press and counter-protesters.
Call it what it is — the GOP hate rally
Traitors, all of them, says Ted Lieu.
For all their chest-thumping, they are cowards at heart. What are they afraid of? Of getting caught on a thousand cameras?
Should we feel sorry for the press? They came so well-prepared this time.
Protesters are in great demand — by the press. LoL!
The theater of the unhinged -
This is what the streets around the Capitol looked like in the morning with its massive preparations.
Preparations by the hate rally organizers. Did you notice the “yuge” stage?
Law enforcement is leaving no stone unturned.
There are counter protesters too. I bet there are more of them.
According to www.washingtonpost.com/…
A counterprotest was also underway at Freedom Plaza, about a mile from the Capitol rally. Organizers of that event said it would be a celebratory gathering with food and music to denounce the presence of “Jan. 6 insurrectionists, Nazis, and white supremacists” in Washington, and encouraged families to attend with children. There were at least as many people there as at the Capitol.
This new ad by Meidas Touch captures the reality of today’s radical republican party.
Let’s mock them, let’s demoralize them, let’s expose them, let’s bring them to justice. We need to stamp out domestic terrorism and its enablers.
And let’s mark our calendars for the Women’s March on October 2, to be held all around the nation.
