What a fucking piece of human garbage:
Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel on Thursday mocked the speaking abilities of Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, the Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate who is recovering from a stroke, and President Biden, who grew up with a stutter.
McDaniel was interviewed by syndicated radio host Hugh Hewitt about news that Biden and Vice President Harris plan to appear at a political event in Philadelphia on Friday intended to boost Fetterman and other Pennsylvania Democrats on the ballot.
“No one wants them except a doomed campaign,” Hewitt said, suggesting that Democrats around the country have asked Biden and Harris to stay away.
“I do not underestimate what the triple toxicity politically of those three can do,” Hewitt, a Washington Post contributing columnist, continued. “I hope there are cameras and microphones, because you put those three together and they could say anything, Ronna.”
“Well, maybe they can get a full sentence out,” McDaniel replied.
McDaniel indicated that she agreed with Hewitt about the undesirability of campaigning with Biden and Harris, speculating that Fetterman “drew the short straw.”
“I think all the candidates got together and said, ‘Which one of us has to campaign with Biden?’ [Fetterman] drew the short straw,” McDaniel said.
She added, “So Biden said, ‘Between the two of us, we may be able to finish a full sentence.’ ”
The whole Republican Party is nothing but a MAGA cult made up of garbage people who feed off of cruelty:
Lending the credibility of the national party she represents to convicted criminal Steve Bannon’s insurrectionist podcast in recent weeks, Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel has repeatedly urged the ex-Trump strategist’s audience to sign up as poll watchers.
McDaniel’s call to action among Bannon’s far-right viewership comes as complaints of voter intimidation from armed “vigilantes” at Arizona drop boxes continue to pour in—all while Bannon promotes the QAnon-linked organization menacing voters.
With the midterms just 13 days away, McDaniel has appeared on Bannon’s War Room Pandemic program three times in just the past two weeks, making her most recent appearance on Wednesday morning. In fact, her latest stop on the MAGA podcaster’s show came mere days after Bannon was sentenced to four months in prison for contempt of Congress.
Bannon, who has publicly boasted about his clandestine efforts to steal the 2020 election from President Joe Biden, has turned his attention to “watching the polls” in this year’s pivotal midterm elections.
Here’s some info by the way:
Why it matters: In the final days before the midterms, Democrats are deploying their party's biggest assets in Pennsylvania. The state, which was critical to Biden's 2020 election victory, could determine control of the Senate next year.
- Lt. Gov. John Fetterman is locked in a close Senate race with Republican Mehmet Oz, while the current attorney general, Josh Shapiro, has maintained a lead over state Sen. Doug Mastriano in the governor's race.
The big picture: While Biden has been forgoing large political rallies that became the signature midterm political move for his predecessors, he has made several trips this year to Pennsylvania, where Fetterman hasn’t shied away from appearing with him.
- On Oct. 28, Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will fundraise with Fetterman at a Pennsylvania Democratic Party dinner. Biden visited the state last week as well.
- Biden flipped Pennsylvania from red to blue in 2020 and feels like he has a fingertip feel for the state, where he based his campaign.
