Russia is withdrawing from positions at Kherson. This will be a blood bath for them. Really.

“KHERSON AXIS/ FLASH TRAFFIC/ 1550 UTC 9 NOV/ RU forces are reported to be executing a withdrawal from all N bank positions around Kherson.  UKR forces have been granted a golden opportunity to smash retreating RU units while motion. Mass RU casualties expected at river crossings.”

“RETREAT TO ROUT? RU state Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu has ordered the withdrawal of RU forces from occupied Kherson. Russia now faces the daunting prospect of crossing the (unbridged) Dnipro River- hit by precision strike artillery and pursued closely by UKR maneuver units.”

They needed to break contact with UKR forces to have any hope what-so-ever at an orderly retreat or setting up a defense to cover. They sure didn’t. This ex-seal  is right — they will be slaughtered. Or drowned I suppose as they are driven into that river. And they know it. They really need to surrender or it is a turkey shoot coming. River of blood so to speak. SO clear.

Like I said — gonna be a hot winter. And General Hodges is quit correct in his assessments of this operational situation. Faster UKR puts Crimea under continuous fire the faster this ends, too. The race to the sea is about to start. Hodges is basically saying Russia has less than 50 days before they lose all territory they took after 2/24/22 invasion so you understand him..
