Breaking: Kyrsten Sinema Leaves Democratic Party

Arizona US Senator Kyrsten Sinema announces she has registered as an Independent, leaving the Democratic Party.  Sinema announced that she does not plan to leave her committee assignments, but has not indicated whether she will continue to caucus with the Democrats, as does Bernie Sanders (I-VT) or Angus King (I-ME).  See the story below from the Arizona Republic for more details.
