- Now we have beaten back gerrymandering in this cycle, and may have come out ahead in the House.
- Now, as hpg and others constantly remind us, our prospects in the Senate are excellent. (Remember, repetition is good. I repeat, repetition is good.)
- Now we are beating back voter suppression in the courts. It turns out, also, that it doesn’t work against massive GOTV. Instead of making prospective voters feel helpless, it fires them up to crawl over molten volcanic glass to the polls.
- Now the big lie is backfiring on the Rs, convincing many that the game is so rigged that they shouldn’t bother voting.
- Now Marc Elias, the ACLU, the NAACP LDF, and others are on top of the states asserting a right to overturn Presidential elections and name their own electors, among many other shenanigans.
Kansas will be sued.

A chaotic evil character does whatever his greed, hatred, and lust for destruction drive him to do. He is hot-tempered, vicious, arbitrarily violent, and unpredictable. If he is simply out for whatever he can get, he is ruthless and brutal. If he is committed to the spread of evil and chaos, he is even worse. Thankfully, his plans are haphazard, and any groups he joins or forms are poorly organized. Typically, chaotic evil people can be made to work together only by force, and their leader lasts only as long as he can thwart attempts to topple or assassinate him.

Instead, they are detected either through gravitational waves at observatories like LIGO, or optically through periodic oscillations in the signatures of energy and heat churned out into the surrounding matter by the pair as they grow nearer to each other.
Ning Jiang of the University of Science and Technology of China was operating a survey telescope from the Zwicky Transient Facility in California where he and his team stumbled upon data that appeared to be from an AGN with two such black holes, in which the oscillations during an observing period of 3 years, decreased from 1 year to 3 months, suggesting that within 100 days, the pair of black holes would tie the knot.
“If the interpretation is true, a coordinated, multi-band electromagnetic campaign should be planned for this first binary [supermassive black hole] merger event observed in human history,” the authors write in their paper which is yet to be peer-reviewed— and some critics are skeptical.
This appears to be incredible good luck for us—unless, of course, it isn’t, and this sort of thing goes on all the time. We’ll find out. Watch this spacetime.
