I have — bitched, moaned, screamed — as some of you know — to put a roof over those people.

They got their roof.

If they could fly F-16s — they would get those too. There will be many volunteer ex- pilots waiting in line to volunteer if they get them. I think some are already there.

Thank f-ng god. Russia will never get their gunships up now — and that will save an awful lot of people.

"It really would not be a big step, going from a Ukrainian MiG-29 to a Polish MiG-29," Herbert "Hawk" Carlisle, a retired general who oversaw U.S. Air Force fighter jets as head of Air Combat Command, tells Defense One.
