The Qronicles is a series that will collect some of the news, videos, and general mis/dis-information roiling around the conspiracy world of QAnon. You can cringe, you can laugh, but these folks are organizing and showing up at the polls!
This Qronicles we are going to try to collect together some of the QAnon world’s stories over the past couple of weeQs (see what I did there?). There are QAnon folks pleading guilty for participating in the Jan. 6, insurrection on the Capitol grounds, there are QAnon folks still waiting for John F. Kennedy (and his son? or his son? It’s hard to know) to return from the dead and turn our country into something out of Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code, oh and President Joe Biden isn’t really there, he died years ago. Did I mention JFK is still alive?
A QAnon follower, Nicholas Languerand, who pleaded guilty in November to assaulting officers outside of the U.S. Capitol, received a 44-month sentence last week. While it was a lot less than the possible 20 years he faced, Languerand’s sentence was one of the longest yet handed down in connection to the events of Jan. 6, 2021.
A crew of QAnon followers collected for a prayer demonstration circle/march thing, singing “Amazing Grace” without a hint of irony, by a border wall down in Texas. Oh, their conspiracy theorizing also led to the closure of a butterfly sanctuary in the area because of how graceful they’ve been with death threats.
Here’s one guy telling small businesses and “so-called” businesses to stop enforcing COVID-19 mitigation efforts. It sounds like this video was shot after some of those small businesses closed their doors for the night.
Here are the kinds of detached-from-reason-and-reality QAnon hot takes I’m expecting to see more of during these chronicles.
Did you get that? Biden was secretly assassinated, but also was a pedophile and has an island near Epstein’s island. She thought Michael Jackson was a pedophile, but now she knows he wasn’t, and like Donald Trump, who has clear connections to human sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, was (or is, because she believes he never died) working to stop pedophilia. And Princess Diana, for some reason, is also on an island.
So it seems that Biden was part of outing this deep-state island secret, and … got merked by someone, I guess? But don’t you fear, remember how that crew of MAGA-faktriots went down to Dallas, Texas, to await JFK Jr.’s return? Remember how JFK Jr., his dad, and Jackie Onassis all didn’t show up (on account of their having passed away many, many years ago, and all)—some of them are still there! Sadly, the those still standing vigil are simply a part of the smaller QAnon cult sect, run by antisemite Michael Protzman. This is the same cult that has members reportedly playing around with drinking bleach—communally.
According to VICE, Protzman has continued pushing forward with his group, saying that at least 17 dead celebrities are a part of the sect’s online chats. It’s begun reaching the sad descent that all cults reach—with family members abandoning children and families in order to pursue the promise of some eschatological revelation. VICE writes about one such member who has sunk deep into Protzman web:
“The search for JFK Jr. turned into a much more meaningful one, a much more intense spiritual one. I need to say the path I took was, and is still, a very spiritual walk with God,” Laura’s mother wrote in the letter, which was shared with VICE News.
[...]
“What I do mourn is the loss of our marriage,” the letter continued. “I have come to that conclusion and I know it’s something I have given a lot of thought to. I can’t go back. I can’t live in the past. Thank you so much for the years we shared, it was full of many wonderful memories that I will always treasure.”
It is sad to lose someone to such a delusional megalomaniac. Especially when the ringleader writes stuff like this.
And finally, KREM reports on Monday that a 26-year-old QAnon follower—fighting to save the children from the secret cabal of pizza-parlor child sex-slave deep-state officials—is facing 20 years for allegedly possessing child abuse materials. Matthew Barszc told officials that “he knew it was illegal to possess images of child sexual abuse, but found the images ‘intriguing,’ according to court documents.”
