The only way to stop Putin's genocidal militarized imperialism is full military defeat.
Putin's 'world war' has already started. This includes a rapidly growing global impact ranging from sharp price increases on and a reduced availability of food and fuel to at least 5 million Ukrainian citizens pushed out of Ukraine by Putin.
Ukraine, which has been and is remarkable in their fight with Russia can't do it alone any longer. With large amount of support given, the world and West has still continued to watch the Russian rape of Ukraine with war crimes and crimes against humanity following everywhere touched by the Russian army.
Sanctions are long term and while more weapons for the Ukrainian army are needed, what is immediately needed even more are American and NATO forces on the ground to use those weapons as an ally to Ukraine. What’s also immediately needed are US and NATO fighter planes in the air and engaged
The Russian army are disorderly and undisciplined thugs and terrorists who will continue Putin's Ukrainian Genocide and terror wherever they go. And it won't stop with Ukraine. Putin’s ultimate purpose is to force the US and NATO into his war started by his destruction of Ukraine.
Other brutal dictatorships such as China and North Korea must also NOT now believe they can attack their perceived enemies with impunity by threatening their nukes. Putin’s threats of nukes must be called for the bluff it more likely represents.
After proving himself and his ‘army’ unable to deal with Ukraine, how long could he manage the US and NATO either militarily or economically? And if Putin’s nuclear reference is not a bluff, the West can’t wait for Putin to initiate use of nuclear weapons to include tactical nuclear battlefield weapons.
Putin MUST be stopped here and now to include the destruction of the Russian military and military economy for multiple generations to come. Russian reparations must include their paying for the reconstruction of Ukraine and release of every single mostly women and children they’ve forcibly deported into Russia.
Putin must be taken from power and dragged to the ICC along with every Russian command level officer either political or military for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Prosecution and sentencing to fit the crimes are how to discourage the next war criminal nation.
The fighting in Ukraine already IS a world war. If Putin, even temporarily, considers himself in control of eastern and southern Ukraine, he will push further into Transnistria and Moldova.
Moldova may not currently be a member of NATO, but that nation is strongly pro-EU and includes Transnistria, an ethnic Russian enclave, which Putin has been eyeing for a while. Moldova has been very concerned by Putin’s destruction of Ukraine and is prepared to fight. Should Putin be allowed to bring his crimes against humanity into another connected nation, the US and NATO will not be able to sit by regardless
We can either wait for the fight as Putin leaves crimes against humanity in his wake or the West with Ukraine – must – stop him right here and right now
