Justice Alito's very wrongful opinion that Americans do not deserve a right to privacy - thus overturning Roe v Wade - is an attack on fundamental rights for all Americans. This is an attack on Doctor-Patient privilege (and HIPAA), Attorney-Client privilege, even Executive Privilege. This goes far beyond eliminating a woman's right to an abortion, and would overturn 240 years of Supreme Court precedence. The mind boggles at how he came to this conclusion, and why we haven't yet called upon a doctor to check Justice Alito's mental competence.
Additionally, it's pretty stupid for Democrats to solely focus on protecting the right to a safe, legal abortion after 50 years of Reagan-style attacks on women's rights, including a right to self-autonomy over their own bodies. We must change the conversation from Pro-Abortion vs Anti-Abortion to Pro-Women's Equality vs NO equality for women. There are no laws on the books forcing men to control their ejaculations or restricting what they can do with their testicles. It would be wise for Democrats to focus on the larger picture -- Women deserve equal rights to men, in the workplace as well as at home. They shouldn't be forced to bear unwanted or dangerous pregnancies because some NON-Doctors sitting on the Supreme Court have decided to make medical decisions for them.
True story: my grandfather came from a family of 9 kids in Oklahoma. In the 1950's, his sister got pregnant, and her alcoholic husband beat her up and threw her down the stairs. This killed the baby in her womb. Their father was a doctor, and he advised her to have an abortion to save her life. The dead baby was gangrenous and making the sister ill. Because of a religious fear of going to hell, she decided against having an abortion, and died. I never met her, but there is an important lesson or two we can learn from her story. First, violence against pregnant women is staggeringly significant. 20% of pregnant women suffer from violence.

Second, we must not allow religious zealots to oppose a woman's right to her own life. 13% of Americans do not favor allowing abortions even when it would save the mother's life. In fact, some state restrictions on abortion ignore the fact that ectopic pregnancies are 100% fatal.

In the face of Congress doing *nothing* materially to prevent the Supreme Court from overturning Roe v Wade based on the far right justices' belief that Americans do not deserve a right to privacy, we should support those brave Americans who protest outside the homes of corrupt, self-righteous justices. In a nation where Donald Trump can steal the Presidency, the Constitutional right to protest is NOT GUARANTEED. No Justice, no Peace.
