As all of us here on Daily Kos know, Tucker Carlson is a professional dirt bag. He is a professional misogynist and he is a professional racist. And for any Star Trek fans here on Daily Kos, and as my parents met at a Star Trek event, I think Tucker would be a disgrace to the United Federation of Planets, which should make him not worthy of attending Starfleet Academy, not worthy of serving in Starfleet, and certainly not worthy of serving aboard any Federation starship named “Enterprise” with an NCC-1701 registry, whether it’s under Christopher Pike, James T. Kirk, or Jean-Luc Picard. And my reason for thinking this is Tucker’s promotion of that racist “Great Replacement” conspiracy theory.
Here is a CNN anchor who, if he is a Star Trek fan, would probably think the same thing about Tucker not being worthy of serving in Starfleet. Here is Jim Acosta calling Tucker out for spreading the conspiracy theory following the revelation that the Buffalo supermarket gunman’s manifesto referenced the conspiracy theory.
And I just learned of this from the above YouTube clip. It’s Tucker tweeting a pic of himself laughing while holding up a New York Times exposé calling him a racist, strengthening the case against him serving in Starfleet.
And here is a compilation from Media Matters, showing Tucker spreading the conspiracy theory, a compilation that should make the son of a bitch not worthy of serving in Starfleet.
And here’s Tucker attacking Dan Crenshaw as “Eye-Patch McCain” in an interview with Tulsi Gabbard.
I’ve written about Tucker attacking women in the military, including the likelihood that Tucker’s willing to attack a Disney Princess character who disguised as a man to take her ailing father’s place in military combat and willing to attack women serving in Starfleet. That should also make Tucker not worthy of serving in Starfleet. I’ve written about Tucker sexually harassing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the air and mocking her fears that sexual violence would be done to her during the insurrection.
