Having done my web wizard best against xtian nationalism I have moved on to an adjacent issue of great import.
That is addressing how the base of the GOP base and thus the religious right got radicalized. I was helping the Union of Concerned Scientists combat mis/disinformation on the web and it soon became obvious that the main source of it was Fox News' Youtube channel. Between social media and that channel' s 9 million users, it gives them an insane amount of free reach. The best solution that I, Mr. Smartypants, could come up with was to apply enough pressure to Google to get them to take it down. So my new crusade to use my web wizard powers began today.

I strongly advise all the folks I tagged to contact the Union of Concerned Scientists via email at ucs@ucsua.org and offer to join them in the fight against mis/disinfo and recommend that they address the above issue. For while they only have 100k members, they have a ton of money and influence as well as a giant brain trust. They would be a valuable ally to have.
Here are the current petitions against Fox News on moveon.org . https://lnkd.in/g67s2HiX No petitions to Google about removing their youtube channel though.
Sincerely,
Erik
