Happy Friday!
Today we’re going to talk about a subject that has either fascinated or entertained (or been scoffed at) by people for centuries, but even more so in the last 100 years or so: UFOs. There is a new(ish) government agency to investigate UFOs, because claims of sightings are ramping up, probably because of cell phones and the ease of which we take video these days.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! I know that a few of you watch shows on Aliens on TV, or read books about them. Here are some things I found on Youtube.
Here’s a Sci-Show on Astrobiology from several years ago. It’s a bit older, but they do *such* a good job of explaining things.
