Transgender Day of Remembrance it a day to remember all of the transgender people killed as a result of prejudice and hatred. It is also a day to raise awareness of the fact that transgender people not only exist but are people's friends and family, coworkers and neighbors. I have never known any transgender persons and hence will say very little more on the topic, which I seriously feel would be a socially salubrious posture for most similarly ignorant people to take, especially those who run around pontificating on this and that when all they are doing is projecting.
