The Mystery of my Great-grandmother's China

My mom passed on her grandmother's China set to me. I don't really have much to say. More questions than answers really. What I know is what is in the pictures below. The pattern is "HWC35", from a Czechoslovakian manufacturer "HW" (though HW may also be German?). I'm guessing it's from the early 20th century (see text exchange below). 

It is a 12-seat setting, though incomplete (pieces lost and broken over the years through use).

Really just curious if there are any antique aficionados who might have any insight or tidbits of info. Thanks for reading! :) I’ll be happy to provide more info if anyone wants it!

Not everything, just what we plan to use for Thanksgiving. There are also tea cups with saucers and soup bowls(?) that have handles on them (not pictured).

The insignia print and numbers look very clean and sharp.
