I can only wonder if Elon Musk had this at the ready to launch as soon as it became apparent conservatives were on a losing trajectory

Okay, we lost Mississippi to a scandal-ridden Tate Reeves in a deep red district, but it was really, really red.

The cousin of Elvis, Brandon Presley, lost to a decades-long incumbent who is currently being shadowed by a welfare fraud accusation, opposes expanding Medicare, and thinks gender-affirming care is child abuse.
In other words, crimson red.

Counting Mississippi as a loss from the get-go, we did pretty well, with Ohio not only enshrining abortion rights into the state constitution but also legalizing marijuana to boot.

After their election losses last night, the only refrain from angry Republicans outside of Chris Christie's sane assessment was essentially “Democrats lied and/or cheated.” No evidence of course, but none is needed; the zombified base has been sufficiently groomed to thoughtlessly bleat out this charming refrain ad nauseam.
Sorry to say the grift may be ending for MAGA as mainstream folks are becoming hip to their games and not buying it anymore. Indeed, America has been in an abusive relationship with Republicans for Decades, and maybe we are on the verge of asking for a divorce.
