Good Evening, Fellow Vent Hooligans! Welcome to another exciting Wednesday night IVH! It’s been awful here the last couple of days. Atmospheric River, aka Pineapple Express. Rainy weekend, then the AR blows in dropping 4-5 inches of rain in Tillamook. Flooding cow pastures and causing the FIVE rivers and a multitude of streams and creeks to swell and flood. High tides didn’t help. Low grade towns close to bays that get clogged up with water going both ways washes out banks and then roads. Rockaway was cut off in both directions by flooding and washed out roads. Glad to be here. Kinda. We also deal with a newer pain in the ass — King Tides, where our beaches are basically oceans. We used to have a large dry sand beach, not since the ocean levels rose, now high tide is really high. And that destabilizes the dunes on which our house sits. Enough, nothing I can do except donate to various ocean and coastal watchers and advocates, like Surfrider's Foundation.

So. decided to switch to JKimmel Caught the last half of the interview with a funny comic — I know, they’re supposed to be funny...then this act came on. I was really amused at their not country, very country tune, and the costume. Still trying to figure them out.
