That apparently set off Trump, who raged on his Truth Social platform:
"I did NOTHING wrong in the 'Horseface' case. I see she showed up in New York today trying to drum up some publicity for herself," Trump wrote.
"I haven't seen or spoken to her since I took a picture with her on a golf course, in full golf gear including a hat, close to 18 years ago. She knows nothing about me other than her conman lawyer, [Michael] Avanatti, and convicted liar and felon, jailbird Michael Cohen, may have schemed up. Never had an affair with her, just another false acquisition by a SleazeBag. Witch Hunt!"
Avenatti, Daniels' former lawyer, was sentenced in 2022 to four years in prison for cheating her out of hundreds of thousands of dollars in book proceeds, and later that year received a 14-year jail sentence for embezzling millions of dollars from his clients.
Trump has a habit of insulting women he doesn’t like by labeling them as unattractive. So Daniels posted a photo of her horse Remy and joked: “He’s prettier than me.”
Daniels also fired back at Trump on Twitter with this zinger. Talk about hitting below the belt:
“He probably watched my movies on repeat, which may be why he has so many typos. (Slippery fingers from lube and KFC).”
After a campaign stop in Iowa last week, Trump consumed a Kentucky Fried Chicken meal on board his plane as he dissed potential primary rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, referring to him as “Tiny D.” Trump said DeSantis “would be right now working probably at a law firm or maybe a Pizza Hut” were it not for Trump’s endorsement in Florida’s 2018 gubernatorial primary.
That DeSantis nickname is particularly amusing because in her tweets, Daniels has repeatedly referred to Trump as “Tiny”—and she was not referring to his hands. In her 2018 tell-all book, Full Disclosure, Daniels went so far as to dish out salacious details about Trump’s genitalia, describing them as “smaller than average” but “not freakishly small.”
And she tweeted:
“Can someone please show me where tiny sued me when he left office? I'm starting to think his supporters are competing in a secret contest for who can come up with the most ridiculous inaccurate tweet.”
Daniels made another reference to “Tiny” when she replied to someone who told her that “Trump isn’t getting arrested.” Daniels wrote: “So he lied? Again? Because that’s what Tiny said on his own social media post.” She was referring to Trump’s Saturday Truth Social post in which he said he expected to be arrested on Tuesday and called on supporters to protest “to save America.”
Daniels replied to all kinds of negative comments from MAGA supporters on her Twitter feed.
And finally there was this reply to a Twitter user named “America Floats!” who posted a meme of Daniels and Trump with the caption “Hi Ho Stormy!” The Twitter user tagged Daniels and asked: "This you?"
She tweeted right back: “It is! Giving him a ride straight to jail. See how sweet I am?”
