The Truth Brigade has a new campaign focused on disinfo aimed at Latinos, and disinfo about Latinos. We have all heard the Wrong-Wing rants about drug mules and rapists and “illegals” and so on. So how do you counter them without amplifying the disinformation? Here is a start.
Nobody is illegal.
Now, as you see above, our campaign banner does not mention Latinos. We do not want to give these lies more oxygen. And of course similar lies are flung at everybody on our side, such as trans people or anybody woke, and we can use this banner for all. But when Latinos are clearly targeted, we don’t hold back.
See, that could be Mexico, or China, or Joe Biden and the Democrats, but the article will provide the context.
Now, I am not going to report the content of the presentations from this Zoom meeting here. That’s off-limits. I will just say that we heard about some of the groups active in the campaign, and polling of Latinos and others relevant to these issues.
However, I can report to you about what Google tells me about these matters.
But first, let’s see some of the early results.
