The funniest thing I have seen on TV in ages is Newsmax’s Woke America, hosted by Vivek Ramaswamy, author of Woke, Inc. It exposes Wrong-Wing Newsmax viewers to many Woke voices, while raging against popular Wokeism, and against Ramaswamy’s fantasy of Woke as a corporate conspiracy.
Vivek Ramaswamy rips back the curtain on the dirty secrets of corporate America and unveils their defining scam of the century: woke capitalism.
His video version of Woke, Inc. is available from Fox Nation on subscription. I haven’t felt the need to look. In fact, I freely admit that this is not a normal book Diary, about something I would recommend that you read. Unless you are doing professional research on disinformation, as I do, I recommend that you stay as far away as possible from it.
Atlas Shrugged is not a book to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown, with great force.
Dorothy Parker
So should all these tendentious works of hate.
As to the book, Ramaswamy holds that Wokeism is a corporate conspiracy.
“Stakeholder capitalism” makes rosy promises of a better, more diverse, environmentally-friendly world, but in reality this ideology championed by America’s business and political leaders robs us of our money, our voice, and our identity.
The modern woke-industrial complex divides us as a people. By mixing morality with consumerism, America’s elites prey on our innermost insecurities about who we really are. They sell us cheap social causes and skin-deep identities to satisfy our hunger for a cause and our search for meaning, at a moment when we as Americans lack both.
Here’s how it works: Pretend like you care about something other than profit and power, precisely to gain more of each.

Sooo...That explains Disney, does it?
Yeah, none of us peasants ever had anything to do with it in this fantasy. It especially has nothing to do with Black culture.

It’s true. “Buddha” means “awakened”, not “enlightened”. So Buddhism is Wokeism.
The most divisive and damaging aspect of the church in America is the combination of racism and white supremacy that has been woven into the fabric of the church to the degree that one cannot discuss the church in America apart from this sin. Nowhere is this clearer than in American Methodism, including The United Methodist Church.
