Update May 25, 2023
My Energy Assistance finally finished processing last night. Not only did I get the standard grant, they located another type of crisis grant that when combined with what was raised on GoFundMe the Power was restored this morning. There's enough left to finish the vet bill and get a start on restocking the fridge and freezer.
Thank you everyone for the help support and advice. The pooties and I are awesomely grateful,

I am a 60 year old disabled woman on Social Security. The last 9 months or so have been a series of emergency/ unexpected expenses that come up in life. Unfortunately on an $800 income it means that I have to deal with the emergency first and hope I have enough left over.
I have a cat who contracted FRV. Which required initial every 2 week vet visits and $250 a month medication. That is now stable as of last month. Then long term medicine is $60 and can be worked into my budget.
There have been other things as well. And sometimes there isn't a choice.
On Wednesday I came home after having a spinal pain surgical procedure done to findy power had been shut off. I've spent the last few days getting in my EAP. I believe those are the initials and trying to find help. There isn't a lot to be found in my part of the state. It's quite rural.
Someone suggested I set up a GoFundMe to help. I've never done anything like that before but went ahead and did as suggested.

Any advice or help is most humbley accepted. Thank you.
