Elmer Rhodes.. Sentenced to 18 years for Seditious Conspiracy

First sedition sentence has now been handed down.

Rhodes, who was facing an enhanced sentence because of other factors, is sentenced to 18 years in prison.

UPDATE Based on his age, he could die in prison.  I had an incorrect age. I thought he was in his 60’s, but he is only 58…

This is shorter than the max, and much shorter than what prosecutors recommended. He showed no remorse in addressing the court. 

The second person to be sentenced (Kelly Meggs) is this afternoon.
