Right now, the stupidest shit on earth is happening on Truth Social and Twitter.
Accusations that the Texas mall shooter had neo-Nazi links left Donald Trump Jr. and Ann Coulter puzzled Monday – because the man who shot and killed eight people is Hispanic.
"Because the name Mauricio Garcia screams white supremacy," former President Donald Trump's son, Don Jr., posted on Truth Social, along with a puzzled face emoji.
And Ann Coulter shared the same puzzlement on Twitter.
"MEDIA: Texas shooter is Mauricio Garcia, 2d generation immigrant ... and white supremacist," she wrote.
"So we could have been spared this horror if only someone had told the shooter: 'Mauricio, you're not white!'"
Texas Governor Greg Abbot stated that he “doubted” the information that the Allen shooter was a “white supremacist” but yesterday he was just sure that the problem was “mental health.”
During an interview on Fox News, host Brian Kilmeade asked Abbott about reports that the alleged shooter at the Allen Premium Outlets had links to white supremacy and neo-Nazism.
"He's a white supremacist Nazi sympathizer?" Kilmeade asked.
"Well, so, listen, I know that there are a lot of, let's say, early stories about the shooter out there," Abbott said. "What I could tell from talking to the investigators yesterday, and that is people should not jump to conclusions because there's a lot of conflicting information about him."
But just a day earlier, Abbott had jumped to the conclusion that mental health was to blame for the shooting.
"What Texas is doing in a big-time way, we are working to address that anger and violence but going to its root cause, which is addressing the mental health problems behind it," he told Fox News on Sunday.
In 2021, Greg Abbot just took $210 Million out of the Texas “Mental Health” budget to help fund his “Operation Lone Star” project for border safety.
Abbott said the money would be taken from the budgets of other Texas agencies, including nearly $210 million from the state’s Health and Human Services Commission over two years and about $160 million from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Ok, then.
Except that:
Garcia, 33, was wearing a patch on his chest at the time of the shooting that read "RWDS," an abbreviation that stands for Right Wing Death Squad, according to reports.
The phrase is known to be connected to right-wing extremists.
NBC reported that law enforcement officials say he made hundreds of posts to social media espousing Nazi and white supremacist beliefs.
According to the MTG — the shooting was the result of “mental health”, “drugs” and “evil.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on Saturday blamed "mental illness, drugs, and evil forces" for a mall shooting in Allen, Texas, where deaths are confirmed.
[...]
Greene, who recently said that Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, is "the biggest piece of white trash in America," retweeted the video and wrote, "This is exactly what this monster deserves."
She added, "Thank God for the brave officer that courageously ran into the line of fire to save others."
Greene's tweet didn't address the existing gun laws in Texas, nor did it talk about the possibility of firearm reform in the U.S., but it did lay the blame at the feet of unidentified "forces." She also offered the victims prayers.
"We pray for the victims and their families and an end to the mental illness, drugs, and evil forces that cause people to commit such horrors," according to the congresswoman from Georgia.
Then after the shooter was called a “Nazi” she claimed he was “Hispanic” and in a “gang.”
Then Rolling Stone chimed in:
And:
Also,
Uh huh.
