There’s not much to be said for the second day of most months. They just are. Except for February, I guess. Which this isn’t.

Oh, and I guess John Adams thought July 2nd was going to be a big deal, and they went with the 4th instead. So much for the wisdom of the Founders.

But the second of June has this much going for it: It’s a Friday.
