Edited to correct my misinterpretation.
Short, but sweet:
This afternoon, Judge Steve Jones for the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta Division, smacked down Meadows’ <s>attempt to have his piece of the Fulton County, GA RICO case moved from Georgia (where federal pardons can’t happen, and state pardons probably won’t happen) to a federal court.</s> request for an emergency hearing for whether he can have his case moved out of Fulton County to happen before he has to turn himself in by Friday, August 25 at noon. See image above.
I think this signals that Meadows’ trial balloon to see if they could get the case moved will fail, which will no doubt disappoint many members of Team Trump, who had hoped it would fly, because this does not bode well for any of their possible attempts to move the case either.
Jeff Clark’s delay request was likewise rejected by Jones.
