It’s Tuesday, October 1, and David Waldman counts up the days and down the hours, but right now at this moment there is some exciting stuff too!

RIP wishes this Monday go out to… NOT JIMMY CARTER! President Carter has at least one more heroic deed planned in only a couple of weeks, and he’s gone 100 years so far, so that can’t be too tough. But you know how famous people go in threes, so those three are officially Kris Kristofferson, Dikembe Mutombo and Pete Rose. Who would have bet on those three? Probably Pete.

Jimmy Carter reminds us of what patriotism is all about. Kamala Harris however is the only patriotic choice we have for president.

If you have Donald Trump in your dead pool, you lose again. Various randos, Iranian hitmen, his own children have all failed. The greatest deterrent to harming Trump is now JD Vance. Who knows what someone could do for 10 million dollars, though. Senate Democrats are looking into why no one wanted you to find out.

Rudy Giuliani’s daughter believes that her dad’s relationship with Donald Trump destroyed his life. Donald definitely helped.

Donald is in North Carolina to throw paper towels and ruin lives… and he’s all out of paper towels. Ron DeSantis is helping rescue flood victims, but if he finds you aren’t from Florida, back in you go. Matt Gaetz is all for helping, if it doesn’t cost money and your mom is ok with it.
