Looking at the recently unsealed motion filed by Jack Smith in DC District Court (caution PDF), it is easy to identify individuals, like Steve Bannon, whose names are redacted in the document based on the context. That still leaves dozens of others to identify.
With 77 people named and 6 co-conspirators to work through, this could take considerable time in the pre-Internet days. Back then, it could have taken weeks or possibly months for an intrepid investigator to rummage through the periodical stacks looking for the right quotes. In the early days of the Internet, this would have still taken several days or more as people chased down all the details.
Fortunately, we have AI, and some intrepid young fellow, who goes by the handle, “dc dude” (@districthomo) on Twitter has applied Gemini Pro to figure out who the redacted folks might be.
If someone can show me how to embed tweets using Firefox, I will fix it. But for now Here's a link to his tweet. That’s all fine and good, but slogging through the tweet thread is tedious, so once again a hero rises from the madding crowd. Thanks to Twitter user “Brucek” (@brucek) we now have the list laid out as a Google Doc, which I reproduce below so now everyone has a quick and easy cheat sheet to keep score with. I embedded the link, as the document may change with additional information. You have to admit it’s cool how much time this is going to save. Kip’s “I Love Technology” plays in the back of my head.
There are only a couple of names left blank, and a couple (e.g Rudy) seem to be duplicated. Some may wind up changing as more information becomes available. But until then, feel free to share this first draft broadly. I say this because I think it is important to deny corporate media the out of playing dumb when we talk about the role of people like Giuliani (CC1) or John Eastman (CC 2), Sidney Pollock (CC 3), Ken Cheesboro (CC 5),and Jeffrey Clark (CC 6).
At this point, the only question I have is, “Who is co-conspirator #4?” Although I admit I’m surprised Margie, Grassley, Graham and Ron Johnson are not on the list.
Note: The names in yellow appear more than once on the list, so there is still some reconciling to be done before this is finalized. I expect that will be handled in hours, not days.
