So I’m about to start a new week without my car. It’s still in the shop. I guess that’s what I get for owning an uncommon model in a small town. It takes forever for my mechanic to get a new battery for it.
In other news, just as all three of my kitties and I got all snuggled up in a heap in bed yesterday and were about to doze off my phone rang. It was Public Policy Polling. Somehow my number got on all the pollsters’ lists. Maybe it’s because I have an old phone account with none of the frills. This poll just wanted to know my general opinions on the presidential and WI Senate candidates. MyVote.com says my county clerk already has my ballot so it was easy. When the pollster asked me why I didn’t like Eric Hovde for Senate I replied it was because I thought we didn’t need a California banker representing us. That apparently fit in somewhere on her list of options. In contrast I said I met Sen. Baldwin personally. I think she’s a wonderful woman. She will have my vote as long as she’s running for office.
Anyway, Happy Halloween to all. I hope you enjoy the music.
So what’s on your mind this morning?
