Remember remember this fifth of November,

Donald Trump’s treasonous plot.

I see no reason why Donald Trump’s treason

Ever should be forgot.

A long time ago, as some of you know,

On November 5 there was a plot.  

Guido Fawkes did his thing, tried to blow up the king.

Too bad for him he got caught.  

Fawkes and friends soon met horrible ends,

Their conspiracy all went for naught.  

But the Brits still remember it, every November

With bonfires and fireworks galore.  

This fifth of November, we must remember

What Trump did and tell him no more.

For when he lost his job, he sent out a mob

Our Congress to murder and maim.

He refused to concede and did a vile deed.

His presidency to reclaim.  

But his angry mob failed.  Some of them wound up jailed.

Which didn’t stop Trump from insisting

He wasn’t defeated, and Biden’s team cheated. 

He vowed he would not stop resisting.  

He’d forgotten, you see, we’re a democracy.  

We don’t have much use for dictators.  

When we make our selection, in that year’s election.

We won’t vote for orange haired traitors.  

We’ll, remember, remember this fifth of November
