Trump is proud to be the opposite of a Nazi, and there are so many reasons it’s true.
He did blame all the troubles of society on one minority group. He dehumanized them and emphasized their repulsiveness, inferiority, and being responsible for all of the suffering of average citizens. He accused them of being the source of all economic woes and even the reason for missing people. He falsely accused them of various acts and crimes. He spoke about how violent they were, how good citizens were in danger of being murdered at any time by them. There was no amount of evidence which could convince his followers that the accusations were untrue.
He planned to gather them for mass deportations to solve all the issues in society. This may not have been well thought out. There wouldn’t be enough space in existing prisons so they would have to build additional detention facilities and create camps to hold them.
In addition to the view of society’s woes being due to one subset of the population, his party is known for strong nationalism and love of country. This is ironic since he was involved in attempted a coup which you would think should have automatically disqualified him from future office.
He built a reputation for being strong as a leader, breaking from tradition, and framing himself as being the one to finally take care of that group causing all the issues. This made him popular among voters who were not in minority groups and those who were anti-establishment and wanted change. So he and his party did well during the election in November 1932.
Then he was able to use his position of leadership to assign party supporters to key governmental positions which expanded his power.
Obviously I was talking about Hitler so far, because Trump is the exact opposite.
It’s not like Trump campaigned on villainizing a minority group in our society for mass deportations…Oh.
Well, it’s not like he blamed them for our economic woes like housing and jobs… Oh. He did? And blamed them for hospital wait times, illegal guns, social security shortages, disaster relief shortages? With no credible evidence?
Well, it’s not like he tries to dehumanize them and falsely blames them for missing people… Oh. Missing pets? He says they ATE them like an animal? He repeated compared them to the cannibal Hannibal Lector? Wait, he literally called them “animals” and “not people”?… I don't think Hitler even did that!
Well at least he didn’t try to scare the general population into thinking they could be murdered at any moment by a violent immigrant… Oh no. Trump said “They make our criminals look like babies. These are stone-cold killers. They’ll walk into your kitchen, they’ll cut your throat.”?
Wait…Trump said “I will liberate Wisconsin from this mass migrant invasion of murderers, rapists, hoodlums, drug dealers, thugs, and vicious gang members.”?…. Even though “Immigrants commit crime at lower rates than native-born Americans, extensive research shows. The nation has experienced a sharp decline in violent crime under the Biden-Harris administration, according to FBI data.”? The evidence doesn’t convince his followers it’s untrue?
Come on, we are looking for opposites here!

It’s not like Trump participated in an attempted previous coup… You’ve got to be kidding me.
Well it’s not like he would use his position to try to put loyal people in positions to expand his power….Oh, he already did with the Supreme Court? He went to them trying to make the argument that a standing president has complete immunity? As in he has unlimited power to do anything as long as he said it was part of his position? Ok, that sounds bad, but it’s not like he would try to expand what his position beyond what is reasonable, right? … Oh, the court case was about the coup and trying to overturn the election?
OK. Well maybe we need to look at the big picture. Trump isn’t looking to dominate media with propaganda lies like… what? He refuses to take part in interviews where they fact check? He also was against Fox News showing opposing views at all? Thinks reporters should be arrested ?
Well at least Trump never tried to ban books that oppose him, right? … Oh. He did that too?
Ok. Trump is only focused on illegal migrants, right? …Oh. Those he accusing of eating pets were LEGAL immigrants? He said he would revoke their legal status and deport them too?
Well it’s not like he has put down any other groups…Oh. The disabled?…Yea. Hitler did that too.
You say Trump called those who politically oppose them “enemies within” and should be prosecuted? OK, that’s a bit Hitler-like.
Well Hitler was known for believing in purity of genes…. Oh. Trump said “Many of them murdered far more than one person, and they are now happily living in the United States. You know, now a murderer, I believe this, it’s in their genes. And we got a lot of bad genes in our country right now.”?
Well Hitler didn’t just think others had bad genes, he also believed in a superior German race… Oh. No. Trump said “Maybe it’s just something you have; you have the winning gene. Frankly it would be wonderful if you could develop it, but I’m not so sure you can. You know, I’m proud to have that German blood, there’s no question about it. Great stuff.”
Well it’s not like Trump would say the country is under attack by a villainized minority group (like Hitler did with communists) to expand his power and take over as a dictator….
Oh... Trump said he wants to enact the Insurrection Act on day one because our country is under attack by a minority group of immigrants? Courts have interpreted it to grant the president exclusive and unreviewable authority to decide how to use the military. And this is after Trump’s Supreme Court Judges ruled in favor of immunity such that “Orders the Navy's Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival? Immune. Organizes a military dissenting coup to hold onto power? Immune.”(Court decision document).
But why does Trump say he needs this power? Mass deportations of the villainized minority?… Yea, that’s what Hitler did… and, we would have to build detention facilities or camps to hold the millions of illegal immigrants? But we wouldn’t call them concentration camps, so “opposite”!?!
Dont even try to bring up that poem about how Nazis came to power… Republicans don’t have any issues with communists or unions… Oh. But Jewish people? Ah, there we go. Trump has stated he rather support Jewish than Muslims in the Israel /Gaza conflict, so obviously he is the opposite of a Nazi. So Trump is right again! How could any of you have doubted him?
